Joomla: JFolder::create: Could not create directory

If you see this errrr when installing Joomla Component, Modules, Plugins.

JFolder::create: Could not create directory
Warning! – Failed to move file
Unable to find install package

It’s mean something wrong with your path.  Please open configuration.php (Joomla 1.5.x) and fix $log_path and $tmp_path.

    Hi,

    I’m trying to set up a Joomla! website. The installing went well and I can add pages and stuff. Whenever I want to add a new module I get this message:

    * JFolder::create: Could not create directory
    * Warning! Failed to move file.

    You say to fix the log_paht and tmp_path in configuration.php. What are the right values for them?

    I want to thank you for the info about the log_path and tmp in teh configuration.php.
    I have now been able to install my component.
